The Fifth ColdSpark® Consortium meeting took place in Stuttgart, Germany, hosted by IBBK. In addition to the progress made across various work packages, the meeting was notable for its in-depth discussions on the future utilisation of hydrogen and carbon produced through ColdSpark®’s innovative cold methane cracking process. A particular emphasis was also placed on dissemination activities, with partners sharing plans for upcoming publications that will highlight the project’s achievements and that have to be expected soon.

The meeting was combined with a productive workshop held as part of the prestigious Progress in Biogas VI conference, organised by the University of Hohenheim and IBBK. The agenda also included visits to two biogas farms, offering an excellent opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding of biogas technology and foster connections with industry stakeholders.

This event not only marked a milestone in the ColdSpark® project’s progress but also provided a powerful platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and networking to drive future innovations in biohydrogen and carbon production technologies.
