Advancing CO₂-Free Hydrogen – STORMING’s Innovations in Methane Cracking
The ColdSpark® project is pleased to announce its participation in the final event of the Horizon Europe sister project STORMING, taking place on 7 October 2025 in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
This high-level event will serve as a platform to explore breakthroughs in CO₂-free hydrogen production through methane cracking, a key technological focus shared by both STORMING and ColdSpark®. It will bring together key stakeholders, researchers, and industry representatives to present and discuss the major achievements of the STORMING project, offering valuable insights into the latest advances in electrification technologies for clean hydrogen.
In addition to the STORMING project results, the agenda includes presentations from EU sister initiatives and related Horizon Europe projects providing a broader perspective on electrification-driven innovation in support of Europe’s decarbonisation goals and industrial transformation.
The event will conclude with live demonstrations and interactive workshops held at the HyGear facilities, offering participants a practical view of the technologies enabling the transition to low-emission hydrogen production.
