ColdSpark® is excited to announce the organisation of a dedicated workshop on biohydrogen production that will be held as а part of the upcoming Progress in Biogas VI conference. Scheduled for September 3, 2024, from 10:20 to 12:05 CET, the workshop will take place in Stuttgart, Germany and bringing together experts and innovators in the field.
Progress in Biogas VI is an important event where science and practice converge to explore the future of innovative biogas solutions. With the European biogas market expected to exceed USD six billion by 2025, this conference serves as a crucial platform for advancing smart and sustainable biogas technologies.
Hosted by IBBK and the University of Hohenheim the conference will gather over 1,000 participants, including biogas plant operators, researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers. The event bridges the gap between cutting-edge technology and practical application, offering attendees the chance to share breakthrough results, best practices, and field experiences.
ColdSpark® is proud to contribute to this forum, offering a workshop that presents the latest advancements in the project in the context of biogas in four insightful presentations from leading project partners:
Terje Hauan, SEID AS: “ColdSpark® – Can Clean and Low-carbon Hydrogen ever Become a Reality in Germany? “
Prof. Xin Tu, UoL: “Plasma Electrification for Power-to-X: A Promising Solution for the AD/Biogas Sector“
Sanjay Gopaldas, UiS: “Biomethane Pyrolysis: A Green Route to Ultrapure Carbon and Sustainable Nanomaterials”
Isabella Bulfaro, IREC: “Unveiling ColdSpark: a Life Cycle Assessment Methodological Framework for Evaluating Environmental Performance”
The workshop will be moderated by Katrin Kayser, IBBK.
