ColdSpark® at Bio360 Expo 2025: Innovating Solid Carbon and Hydrogen Production
We are delighted to announce that the ColdSpark® project will be featured at Bio360 Expo 2025, taking place on February 5th and 6th, 2025, in Nantes, France.
Bio360 Expo is a leading international event for the bioeconomy, uniting stakeholders from across the renewable energy and sustainable development sectors. The event showcases cutting-edge technologies, solutions, and research aimed at accelerating the transition to a circular and sustainable future. Key focus areas include bioenergy and innovative approaches to tackling climate change.
Michael Koettner, Managing Director of IBBK, will represent the ColdSpark® project at the event. He will deliver a presentation titled “Production de carbone solide et d’hydrogène à partir de biométhane à l’aide d’un plasma non thermique” (Solid Carbon and Hydrogen Production from Biomethane Using Non-Thermal Plasma). This session will highlight:
- The potential of non-thermal plasma technology for methane cracking
- Sustainable hydrogen production with no water or catalyst requirements
- Creation of high-purity solid carbon for value-added applications
