International Biogas Congress & Expo: Showcasing Innovation and Opportunities in the Bioenergy Sector
We are pleased to announce that the ColdSpark® project will be featured at the International Biogas Congress & Expo 2025, taking place on June 24–25 in Brussels, Belgium. The event will offer a comprehensive look at the latest developments in the global and European biogas markets providing insights to the market dynamics and investment opportunities driving the sector forward. Key policy updates will be discussed, including the EU’s Fit-for-55 package and the REPowerEU plan, both of which play a critical role in shaping the future of biogas and biomethane in Europe. The event will also highlight cutting-edge technological innovations, including ColdSpark®, that are transforming plant efficiency and operational performance across the biogas value chain. In addition, the congress provides excellent networking opportunities, bringing together policymakers, biogas producers, researchers, and technology suppliers from across the bioenergy landscape to foster collaboration and drive innovation.
ColdSpark® will be presented in a poster presentation by Nataliya Polezhaka, Senior Energy Analyst at IBBK Fachgruppe Biogas GmbH. She will present how the decentralised solution ideal for integration alongside biogas plants developed within the project and will reveal how it enables additional CO₂ removal from the atmosphere while producing green hydrogen and solid carbon with valuable commercial applications.
